Attended first trail ride before even investing in a Land Rover, not that it was ever a question. Currently own two Land Rovers and have retired three more. Served multiple Board positions including President, Vice President, Treasurer and Events Coordinator. Enforces the "no whining" rule with their children (and other members when necessary).

Husband, Dad, Land Rover Master Tech, Partner of Expedition Autoworks, Runner, Mountain Biker and Outstanding Mower of Lawns. Always looking for a new Rover, moto or house. Continuous effort to keep the current Paavola Fleet on the road and trail.
Kat
Wife, Stay Home Mom, Internet Shopping Junkie, MNLR Den Mother. Has been known to garden in high heels with a cosmo in her hand. Sports farmers tan.

Hannah
Cheerleader, Scholar, Tender Heart. Started trail riding before she was 1. At 16 will entrance (and most likely terrify) the boys.
Eva
Cheerleader, Dangerosa, Continuous Cartwheeler, Infectious Smile. Went on first snow obstacle at 2 weeks old. Voted most likely to change her own oil. And get a tattoo.
Nora
Nymph, Trail Fashionista, Absolutely Fearless. Co-pilot on black diamond "Money Talks" at the 2004 Annual Picnic at 2 weeks old. Motto: "Whatever you can do, I can do better." Yikes.
Zoe
Lovable black lab. Dork in a pink Coach collar. Goes on all rover trips. Eats everything.

The Green Machine
1992 Range Rover LSE (Light Stone Edition) in Brooklands Green. Acquired in 2007 from good friend and fellow MNLR member Bret DeGayner only 2 weeks before the MNLR Annual Picnic. Despite it's age, this truck spent most of its life in Arizona and only had only minor surface corrosion in a few spots making it the perfect truck for trail adaptation. Modifications include: Snorkle, NRP performance cat, trail modified Borla rear exhaust, 100amp alternator out of 1993 lwb, electric radiator cooling fan, 3 inch Rovertym springs, Custom valved Bilstein 5100 eyelet to eyelet shocks, 2 inch body lift to clear 34 inch Super Swamper SSR on Disco I steel wheels, QT rear drop out springs, QT castor corrected radius arms, rose jointed and cranked rear links, Rovertym adjustable panhard rod, polybushings where ever possible, stainless steel brake hoses, Rovertym stainless steel steering rods, Rovertym bumpers - front and rear and sliders - all galvanized, Warn XD 9000 winch with Rover specialties X line and fairlead, ARB front air locker, Detroit locker rear, ARB compressor with air up kit, GBR 4.1 ring and pinions, LT230 transfer case with GBR maxi drive low range gears, Tom Woods CV style front prop shaft, GBR rear half shafts, Rovertracks heavy duty cvs and half shafts - so long ABS, IPF H4 headlamp conversion, Bosch Aux lights, Cobra CB with K40 antenna, (soon painless) wiring dual battery isolator and an Optima Red top to match the yellow top currently in vehicle.
Grocery Getter - aka The Mom Taxi
2000 Land Rover Discovery II in Charcoal Grey. Acquired in 2004 pending the birth of our third child. Needed that third row, you know. Minimum modifications include Old Man Emu medium springs installed to replace air suspension, otherwise this truck is stock. Lovely on the road, despite her age -- the car that is (and the Mom, too).
V-Dub
1969 VW Bug Convertible, Black and Tan. Kat just can't get rid of this garage hog but when she's running, everyone smiles.

2002 Aprilia Futura
Red, hard luggage, girlie magnet. Mototechno exhaust and an H pipe waiting for Staintune tailpipes to replace the Mototechno. A cushy Italian ride.
Braveheart
1992 27 ft. Winnebago Brave RV. Home away from home. Includes DVD for the kids and keeps Kat out of the rain, so everyone's happy. Often seen towing the "trailer of shame."

Jeep Recovery Tool
1990 Land Rover Range Rover in Clearwater Blue. Acquired in 2000 from good friend and long-time client Ron Schleuffer. Modifications include: 4.0 Rover short block, ported heads, too much cam, shortened intake trumpets, 3.0 bar fuel pressure regulator, mixture monitoring gauge, NRP downpipe and a Borla tail pipe, converted to a 1993 spec alternator, Rovertym 3 inch springs with Pro Comp shocks, Rovertym rear trailing arms, Old Man Emu cater correcting radius arm bushings, Rovertym stainless steel steering rods, Rovertym 2" body lift, extended stainless steel brake lines, transfer case converted to an LT 230Q with Maxi Drive rock crawler low range gear set, 4.1 to 1 ring and pinions with a Detroit locker in the rear and a Trutrack up front, Great Basin hardened rear axles in the rear, poly "A" frame bushings, Tom Woods front CV style driveshaft, Rovertym front, rear bumpers and sliders, Warn XD9000i winch with Rover Specialties X line and fairlead.

Willoughbeast
1998 Land Rover Discovery in white with lots of scratches and trail "character." Acquired in 2001 from good friend and long-time client Jay Willoughby. This vehicle was used as a test bed to see what works. Modifications include: First a supercharger, then a hotted up NA 4.6 and Borla exhaust, transmission converted to R380 manual from automatic (don't try this at home kids!!!), 4.7 GBR gears hardened rear axels and ARB Air Lockers; radiused fenders, roof rack, limb risers, Safari snorkel, Expedition Autoworks tail door jerry can carrier, roof mounted driving and fog lamp, rear work lamp, Cobra in hand set CB radio, Safari Gard front and rear bumper, rock sliders and Warn XD 9000 winch, Safari Gard Stage II suspension with 3 link which evolved into Rovertym radius arms, steering rods, rear lower links and 3" springs with 1.5" spacer blocks under them, Pro Comp Explorer ES 9000 shock with eyelet to eyelet mount top and bottom, front and rear, 4.5" bump stops, stainless steel extended brake lines and PBR 4WD brake pads, and finally, Super Swamper TSL 9x34x16 tires with tubes.

Red, Motorcycle Performance Services ported heads with 1mm bigger intake, 11 to 1 Wiseco pistons, carbon fiber mufflers, kevlar brake lines. Eric's speed fix. Garage Hog.
